Born to Water Teishin

Born to Water is a poetic phrasing in English. It is inspired by an important part of the creation stories of the Dine people in which the exploits of hero twins are featured. Its unique shape allows for easy, normal teishin use as well as gentle stroking, since it has a slightly flat side. The virtue of the water element in Chinese medicine is wisdom, and we see this teishin as capturing that essence of water.
