Standard Dosage: 3-4 tablets, 3 x per day
Clinical Dosage: Administer half an hour before or one hour after eating. In the initial phases, dosage may be increased to 4-6 tablets every 2-4 hours, then reduced to a maintenance dose as the formula takes effect. May be used medium-term for a few weeks to a few months. If administered alone for acute symptoms, it is usually taken up to a couple of weeks. It is often administered along with a constitutional formula for a few months to address chronic conditions.
Contraindications (all): Use with caution in Yin deficiency. Use with caution during pregnancy. Canger zi is very drying, avoid excess use.
